I am in the process of moving LisaLovesToScrapbook.blogpsot.com to my new account
LisaLovesToScrapbook.com. The new blog is WordPress, awesome!

TODAY I needed dishwasher detergent. Want to run the washer and no soap.
Also, no recipe in the house for a new batch of detetergent.

Used swagbucks.com to search and found a great site w/ a recipe I like the best:

http://www.diynatural.com/simple-effective-jabs-homemade-dishwasher-detergent-rinse-agent/

Homemade Dishwasher Detergent Recipe

•1 cup borax

•1 cup washing soda

•1/2 cup citric acid

•1/2 cup kosher salt

Fill rinse agent compartment with white vinegar

The post goes on with picture steps, cost breakdowns, etc. Awesome!

I don't have citric acid in the house, but I do have too much orange extract. So I used a tablespoon of extract w/ 2 tablespoons of detergent mixture, listed above. It smells good.

Usually I would use Trader Joe's detergent. But it does leave a white film that everyone talks about. Maybe if I see Citric acid I will try it - the posting comments say Citric acid is a miracle worker.

Lisa

Happy Valentine's Day Week

I hope you are having a nice week so far. The weather has been great here and we aren't down with the flu - good times!

Our schools had a 1/2 day today so both of my boys came home early. I took my oldest to the dentist for full X-rays - seems he has a rogue eye tooth. Not good. I don't miss that part of teen age years. I had teeth pulled and braces when I was a teen, ugh! It was worth all the pain and soreness, though. I did not know at 13 years old how much I would appreciate having straight teeth at almost 50 years old. I am getting a big return on investment. lol

With my 1 hour off today I dropped by the Dollar Tree. I'm looking for sandals for the Boys' Club knight costumes. I didn't find sandals to buy BUT I found a Zen Garden. Just couldn't pass _that_ up for $1. I put it on my desk right in front of my computer screen. It'll bring me peace until it looks too dirty. This is what mine looks like - but my swirls aren't as good as this one from the web:

Another good piece of news for today - Survivor started! I joined a competition in my local scrapbook group. We did a blind draw for 1 survivor and get to pick 1 more survivor. Whoever picks the survivor winner, wins. For the blind draw, I got "Stephanie Valencia". Now don't tell me she just teamed up with Russell? Really? Like that is going to work this time? Uh oh! lol Well, I guess you never know. lol I have to figure out who I'll pick for Survivor #2....

My 1st (blind) draw for Survivor this season. Wish me luck, I haven't won the competition yet! It's a good year for firsts, right?

Have a great week!

Lisa

Update for February - Celebrate Phoenix, Recipe Card, Bracelets and Chicks

Hello and thank you for stopping by. :)

Since the start of the new year, I have posted 7 videos up on youtube I will post 2 more this week. Mantras can be great when I feel "stuck in a rut". After my scotch tape failed to secure my foil and flock wrapping paper on a gift - I thought "What is a strong tape?" ATG gun of course!

The ATG gun glides on long pieces of wrapping paper. And an extra plus- the tape stays INSIDE. The seams where the paper joins looks spotless with scotch tape covering them up.

The ATG gun gives a very professional look. Use your non scrapbook refills, the cheaper tape. :)

If you like demonstrations - a video!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8fPuaH9GmI

Thank you for stopping by,
Lisa

Sizzix Ornament Tag and Card Swap & Video Tutorial

Hello and Happy December Holidays!

I joined a tag swap, and 2 card swaps for November. It kept me busy - sorry no posting. But now I can catch up.

Here is the card I made:
http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h19/mtarot/IMG_6301.jpg

This video is a video log for Christmas Cards I made for 2 card swaps. I participate in a local craft group swap (Thank you Ladies!!). I also found a Blue Christmas Card swap on Split Coast Stampers. Excellent! So I joined and now I can do 2 swaps with 1 design – which for me is always the hard part.

How I made this 5” x 6.5” card:

1) Papers – Heidi Grace Frost Blvd Décor Stripe. A package of 25 at Big Lots. Paper is copyright 2007 and is by Fiskars. Blue Shimmer paper by Club Scrap May 2002 Bugs Kit.

2) Cut papers with Sizzix Dies – Frame, Circle Scallop (Frost Blvd) and use Bigz Die Ornament, Ball to cut the blue shimmer paper.

3) Cut 4.25” square of white Bazzil cardstock. Also use Green, small Sizzix Snowflake die #2 to cut white snowflake

4) Use Cuttlebug Polka Dots emboss folder to emboss square and snowflake.

5) Glue papers together. Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive and ATG gun with non Scrapbooking tape.

6) Pop up ornament top with foam squares. I used Front Porch Treasures foam squares from 99 cent only store.

7) Cut a 5” long strip of 2 more stripes from Heidi Grace Frost Blvd Décor Stripe paper.

8) Stamp “Merry Christmas” with Denim ink – Ranger Industries – Adirondack dye ink. Stamp design is by Stampabilities, a wood mount stamp from Hobby Lobby 2010. I remounted the stamp onto a clear block to use it.

9) Attach 5” strip with “Merry Christmas” to the bottom of the card. Then center the 4.25” square to the top of the card.

10) Use ATG gun to attach ornament to the Polka Dot embossed 4.25” square.

11) Add ribbon to the top of the ornament – Sheer white ribbon from Dollar Tree.

12) Diamond stickles to accent Décor Stripe paper and dots on the snowflake.

If you are a visual person - here is the youtube video link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tChzzg2Fsc

And the same link embedded:

Thank you for joining me, have a wonderful day!

Lisa

How to make cards that fit envelopes already in my home (No. 6 3/4)

Hello, and Welcome!

Small business ( or commercial ) envelopes are readily available in my home and at the stores – even Sams Club, Wal Mart, dollar stores, etc. These small or commercial business envelopes, No. 6 ¾ (who made up that size?) and have a size of 3 3/8” x 6 ½”.

I have a box of 80 security envelopes by Mead (security – tinted color inside) for 88 cents. Easy to find, I have 2-3 boxes in my house all the time. So why don’t I have cards to fit these boxes? Why do I have to make a special trip to the stationary store to buy “specialty” envelopes when I have 200 envelopes at home? Stop the insanity! Lol

So I decided to make cards that fit into standard small business size envelopes. And I’m taking you with me LOL.

Another benefit of using small business size envelopes is that they fit into mail sorters. This is great for businesses who use sorters to organize their mailings.

There is a downside to using these envelopes for cards. The envelope size is commercial and it says “commercial” just looking at. Many people will not mind getting a birthday and present using this standard envelope size – but specialty envelopes says “special” just by being a different size. AND standard card sizes like A2 are closer to being a square – giving it more versatility when you decorate.

Still, when you need a card NOW the small business envelope is to the rescue! Maybe only the crafters in your life will notice….

To make a Card for a small business envelope:

1) Start with a 8.5” x 11” piece of cardstock or piece of paper. This is that paper that works in regular printers. Thicker paper or pattern paper is a great choice.

2) use a paper trimmer or ruler, scissors and pencil to make the straight cuts.

3) Cut the 8.5” side to 7” wide (take off 1.5”)

4) Cut the 11” size down to 6”.

5) You now have a paper 6” x 7”. You can use the envelope as a folding guide.

6) Fold the 7” size in 2. Now the card measures 6” x 3.5”. DONE.
7) You can make a “postcard” style card to fit another small business envelope. Cut the large piece of left over paper to 3.5” x 6”. Now you have a card and postcard from 1 piece of paper.

The video tutorial for this card is on youtube at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_AJUi2_MeU

Or click the video embedded link below:

Thank you for joining me. Have a wonderful day – enjoy decorating that card! Lol Use those leftover papers you have from crafting – see my other videos.

Lisa

My Creative Memories Blog is at:

http://lovetocreatememories.blogspot.com/

How to Make Standard Size (A2) Greeting Cards

Hello and Welcome! This week I am focusing on how to make greeting cards at home.

These written directions show how to make 2 standard size greeting cards from an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper. You can make 2 standard A2 cards from a 12x12, OR if you are willing to make a slightly smaller card, you can make 3 cards from a 12x12 paper. (You can make three 4" x 5x5" cards from a 12x12 inch paper.)

Standard A2 greeting cards are 4.25" x 5.5". This is exactly 1/2 of a 8.5 x 11 paper, a standard size in the US here used in business, printers, etc. Many craft papers are 8 1/2 x 11 inches making the A2 size a favorite. If you join a swap, this is the size usually expected.

Another size growing in popularity is 4" x 5.5". The benefit of 4" x 5.5" is that 4" is a standard mailing size here in the USA. And you can barely tell the difference! Unless you are a crafter and make your own cards lol. (Added bonus – you can make 3 cards from a 12x12 sheet of cardstock).

You can make 2 (two) standard A2 greeting cards from 1 sheet of 8.5 x 11 inch cardstock. Or 2 A2 size cards from a 12x12 page. From a 12x12 piece of paper, cut it down to a 8.5 x 11 or 8x11 first, then follow the rest of the directions. The standard A2 size comes in 2 styles - the most common style opens from 4.25" into 8.5" when open. The 2nd style is 5.5" and opens to 11" when open.

The most commen use style is the card that opens from 4.25" to 8.5" across when OPEN.
If you want the most common A2 style of card - follow these steps:

1) Use a paper trimmer cut down the middle of a 8.5 x 11 paper at the 5.5 inch mark on the 11 inch long size.

2) Use a tool (bone folder, trimmer, scor pal, Martha Stewart score tool) to score 1/2 across the 8.5" side.

If you want a 4" x 5.5", trim your paper to 8" x 5.5", then score at 4" mark.

If you want a true or crafter's A2 (4.25" x 5.5") then score a 5.5" x 8.5" piece at the 5.25" middle of the 8.5" side.

Another variation of the A2 card is the "tall" or "long" version. The 5.5" side open and when OPEN is 11" across. AND it fits in the same envelope as the most common style described above :)

From a 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of paper:

1) Use a paper trimmer to cut on the 4.25" middle of the 8.5" side.

2) Use your score tool (see list above) to score at 5.5" middle of the 11" side.

3) Ready to go!
How to make 3 THREE - 4" x 5.5" cards from a 12x12 - not on the tutorial video:

1) Trim off 1" from a 12x12 paper.

2) Paper is now 12 x 11. On the remaining 12" side, cut at 4 and 8 inch marks. Now you have 3 pieces of paper 4 x 11.

3) Score papers at 5.5". Fold.

4) You now have 3 "long" style - Style 2 cards.

--------------------------------

My friends recommend buying envelopes at a stationary store OR Staples, Office Depot. Look for the Specialty envelopes that are for invitations or 4x6 photos. You can usually find white and ivory. The big craft stores have very nice envelopes - use those 40% off coupons!

Ideally you can use a craft paper trimmer to make cards. If you make many cards, having one will make life easier and crafting funner. I am a demonstrator for Creative Memories, which makes a great trimmer. Ask me for details! lol

If you aren't a crafter the Staples and Office Depot have office style trimmers. Warning though - they are not geared to crafters. Ask me, I own one! lol It's good quality and makes "big size" but doesn't work for crafting needs (cutting smaller pieces of paper).

Please Comment and Subscribe. Thank you!

Here is the video tutorial:

Tip #3 How to Make a Standard Size Greeting Card

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKNil1lmM9I

If you would like the embedded video link click here:

Easy Lemon Cookie Recipe and Scrapbook Card

Hello and Happy Monday :)

Wow! I am so happy other people can relate to my "lemon cookie" problem - people are leaving many comments on the video at youtube.com. I’ve made chocolate chip, peanut butter, sugar cookies from scratch. But lemon – ugh! It is hard to get good lemon flavor!

Secret Ingredient – CAKE Mix! I bought a $1 box from 99 cent only store, but I bet “dollar to donuts” that Betty Crocker would make this better. (or another good quality cake mix )

You don’t have to be impressed, I’m kind of embarrassed. BUT I’m sure I’ll eat the cookies lol. I do wonder what they do to cake mix to make it taste like lemon!!!

Here is the recipe card recipe:

• 1 (18.25 ounce) package lemon cake mix

• 2 eggs

• 1/3 cup vegetable oil

• 1 teaspoon lemon extract

• 1/3 cup confectioners' sugar for decoration

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

2. Pour cake mix into a large bowl.

3. Stir in eggs, oil, and lemon extract until well blended.

4. Drop teaspoonfuls of dough into a bowl of confectioners' sugar.

5. Roll them around until they're lightly covered.

6. Once sugared, put them on an ungreased cookie sheet.

7. Bake for 6 to 9 minutes in the preheated oven. The bottoms will be light brown, and the insides chewy.

Here is the video - but it's all about the scrap. Maybe I need a video update to show the baked cookies and what I think of the results!

Crochet Flower Books that I know about

This is the 3rd flower crochet tutorial video I have on youtube.com. Thank you for stopping by :)

In a previous blog post I showed how to get started making crochet flowers. I have only crocheted for a year, not an expert at all! There are some wonderful crochet resources on youtube - Mikeysmail and "The Art of Crochet" by Theresa.

I just want to focus on cards I can use for card making and scrapbooking. I want easy to color flowers so they will match my papers and maybe ribbons and brads :)

In this video - I crochet the simplest flower I know - the star flower. From this demo maybe you can tell if this is a hobby you would be interested in, or not. lol

have a wonderful day!

Recipe Swaps in 2011 - Preview

Hello, hope you are having a wonderful day :)

My local swap group has published the list of recipe swaps for 2011. I hope this helps someone. I could not find this info anywhere online. I will need this infomation again in another year - so this is now my Flip reminder! lol

I have made movies for about a year. I do not have a HD Flip, just the original one. No matter how many videos I deleted off the camera, my recording time was down to 1 hr 30 minutes. Ugh!

Finally in the System directory I found the culprit - FILE0000.CHK. It is holding file fragments.

I copied it to my desktop on my computer. Just in case. Then I used my computer to delete that file off of my camera. Turned on the camera - happiness!! 2 hours of recording time.

Because where would Youtube be without me taking up disk storage space?? There will be giveaways next week so you haven't missed it yet :)

Meanwhile, a gal doesn't paper craft all day. Esp. on vacation where Southwest allows free luggage still (thank you!) but under 50 lbs. You _know_ how much crafting tools weigh!!! lol

Soooo I do my crochet flowers. I make all white or ecru. Then I can use dye ink to make them match my projects. It gets dull doing white all the time... but I am happy to have them later on in the year for sure :)

I did a video introduction if YOU are interested in making your own crochet flowers. Crochet flowers can be cute and small, big and gorgeous. They layer really well w/ all kinds of other flowers too!

Here are the details and the video:

A year ago I got "the bug" to learn how to make crochet flowers. I really wanted to use them on my paper crafting projects! Looking back over my 1st year now I'm doing an introduction video for paper crafters who want to make crochet flowers just for paper crafts. And don't already know how to crochet! lol

My suggestions:

Youtube - Theresa (Art of Crochet) and Mikeysmail - he just put up a brand new line of beginner videos!
Library - children's section, search for crochet. Easy projects, lots of pictures! lol

Next trip to Wal Mart buy:
Size C (or D) Crochet hook - $1.30
Size 3 white crochet thread (not embroidery!) - $2
Needle point needles - $1.50
Use a bag you own to be your "embroidery" bag.

The library also has flower crochet books - get on the waiting list! lol In the adult section.
(See my 3rd flower video!)

Thank you for watching. Have a wonderful day! :)
Lisa

Crochet Daisy Flower

Hello :) As you can see on my Creative Memories Consultant Blog I am busy with Croptoberfest.

I did get a request how to do the Crochet Daisy. I am sure I have a video project or 2 that I did on youtube but it hasn't made it here ;( However, check out my Creative Memories Consultant website. I am doing much better over there! lol

I am now using swagbucks.com instead of google. I search all day long on the internet. I have many, many questions! But after hearing a talk from a privacy expert, using google started to lose its appeal. So I started using swagbucks.com.

Swagbucks shares part of their advertising revenue with you. So yes it may take all year to earn a $5 gift card to your favorite store. But google isn't paying me anything, and I could enjoy a free cup of coffee and breakfast combo once a year! lol

OR click here:
http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/cropwithlisa

If you click the link on my blog - I get a referral credit. Who knows how much. But hey, it's like a tip jar but it's FREE. yeah! Then send an invite to your friends and you get the referral credit. Maybe we can get 2 cups of coffee this year. That might be pushing it though! lol

Thank you!
Lisa

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://cropwithlisa.blogspot.com/2010/09/try-new-search-engine-that-shares-with.html' title='Try a New Search Engine that shares with you! What the Real Crafter needs to know

If you are like me, you like *sales*.
Esp. on craft supplies. Sales make my heart go pitter patter. :)

So for my birthday last year, my generous in laws gave me money, which I used to buy Adirondack dye ink pads. And of course I wanted the re-inkers for future use. AND a major craft store was having a 40% off sale. It was awesome, I was thrilled.

I did my research 1st, and online Adirondack gets great reviews from crafters. And so far my experience with dye inks and rubber stamps has been great! (Now those acrylic stamps... we need to talk!!!!)
But here is what I missed. When Ranger Industries KNOWS you are going to write a review for their products, they send you NEW products. Ink pads JUICY and wonderful. Just like all the reviews mention.

But I mentioned SALE, right? Where after a while (years?) they have to move out the old ink pads. That is where I come in. Those ink pads are NOT so juicy, as you can imagine. In fact, I ven bought some at Tuesday Morning. Yeah, how old are those dye ink pads? They are unusable until they are re-inked.

Also assume once you add the ink needs 12-24 hours to settle onto the pad for best results. So you need to plan ahead.

SO moral of the story - if you buy ink pads at a serious discount, assume they are unusable until you add more ink to them. Not the end of the world, I just wish I knew. What if I didn't order the re-inker with the pad? That's another 2 weeks to wait until I can get a new order in.

Hope this post isn't too ranty. I am finishing up a video where I played with Paper Crafts Magazine Sketch 60. I used my Meadow Adirondack ink, but the night before I re inked the ink pad. And it needed it!

Thanks for stopping by :)
Lisa

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://cropwithlisa.blogspot.com/2010/06/buying-ink-pads-on-sale-at-major-store.html' title='Buying Ink pads on sale at a Major store... What I notice:

1) Watch out for fingers and hand parts when you close the tool! Many pieces are moving, not just
what you are looking at. People get HURT!

2) The Top and Bottom aren't labeled top and bottom. They do have a letter label and number label though on the black blocks that rotate. On my Crop-o-dile, the Top is on the side of the 1/8" hole maker,
the bottom is on the 3/16" side. If you mix up Top and Bottom you will get frustrated.

Thanks for stopping by :)

Crafting Glimmer and Spray Mists - Pass the Bottle Please :)

I've done 3-4 projects over the past year using "Glimmer Mists". I wanted a recipe for the upcoming "soups and stews" swap. And I just bought a 20 lb bag of russet potatoes at Sams Club.

Part 1 of Potato Day - I learned a new way to make baked potatoes. I will only bake potatoes in the winter (the oven heats the house - ugh!).
The bag I bought had a baking recipe with the oven at 425? That just didn't sound right, ya know?

So guess where I went today online - howtobakeapotato.com. I couldn't make that up. The directions were great, so are the pictures. And the potatoes came out GREAT. I used Russet instead of Red potatoes, so my cook time was 1 hr 45 min. Still, the potatoes baked great!

How to Bake a Potato .com (Click Here)

Part 2 of Potato Day - a Potato Soup Recipe for an upcoming Soup & Stew Recipe Card Swap :)
I leafed through quite a few, thinking I would use a recipe that uses canned soup. BUT I found a Youtube video channel - Betty's Kitchen on Youtube

Her recipe uses just vegetables and milk (nothing processed!) and is EASY and 1 skillet. She looks thin and healthy, so if I eat like her ???? LOL

So this is the recipe I want to do. I have all the vegetables (potatoes, carrots, onion) in the house so I can try it tomorrow! No "Cream of" soup I never have around the house anyway...

Here is the recipe video...

Crochet & Paper Craft Flowers

Well as you know Survivor Samoa is over. Cleaning and organizing. I have carried this Club Scrap Wheel and Sprocket kit around for a few months to make some cards. She gives measurements and uses her Ranger Ind. alcohol inks - so if you have Ranger ink pads the dew drops will match:

http://www.pamelasgallery.com/2009/dew-drops-anyone

Pamela does white drops using Staz On - kewl! lol

The bigger news for me is that BIG bags of dew drops are a Michaels:

"I bought my bag of ‘dew drops’ at Michael’s. They are about 5 bucks for this big ol bag! They are hanging in the vase filler area, where they keep the green floral foam is sittingl These bags hang above where the foam is sitting."

Duh moment for me - I will be checking this out and reporting. AFTER the boys get their homework done today. I stayed up till 11:30 pm setting up all their worksheets for 5 days (so next Mon. and Tues. I am trying to play with 1 of my new ink pads so any damage learning will be limited. lol This Adirondack set is my 1st real "set" of stamp pads. I own a few dye stamp pads from Stampin' Up and Close To My Heart where I have re-inkers on order. Those stamp pads came "ready to stamp" and I haven't re-inked them yet.

Why Adirondack Stonewashed dye ink pad? I am making these cards:

I thought 30 cards would be plenty - but now I am up to 75ish. LOL If I knew I would have kept the project simplier.

Anyway... the Adirondack Denim and Stonewashed ink pad and re-inker sets came in after the 1st 30 cards were made, so I switched to use them. Previously I was using Color Box Pigment Brush pad, those little Cat's Eyes.

The 1st results with my new dye ink pads - disappointing! It never sank into my head about how pigment inks "sit on top" of your paper and dye inks "sink in". But the pigment looked so nice sitting on top, and the dye was sinking in and *bleeding*! The dye ink looks different on my acrylic stamps too. I was wondering if dye inks and acrylic stamps would work together - since I have - oh 40 or so sets. YIKES!!

Lucky I bought re-inkers for each stamp pad I bought. Or necessary maybe, since the pads maybe sitting in a JoAnn warehouse for a long time? Time to play with re-inking, since the money was spent and the re-inker bottle is going to last for a while :O.
I re-inked the Denim and Stonewashed dye pads 2x for 2 days in a row. At that point I could stamp "be merry" 50 times with the denim ink pad and it was crisp looking. I didn't have to apply a large amount of pressure anymore, and the ink doesn't bleed. wow! I put the Denim ink pad away, sealed in a plastic bag.

The Stonewashed ink pad I am still working on. It's day 3, I've reinked 3-4x today alone on top of the last 2 days. The ink pad feels heavier. I guess I've used maybe 1/8 bottle used (1 oz. bottle). No leakage from the stamp pad sides, no signs of over inking at all. From what I have read a quarter size dollop of ink in the center should work. I guessimate I put on 5-6 quarter sizes at this point.

I "test" stamp with Inkadinkado Friendly stamps (acrylic) and the ink stamps nicely (it likes huffing) but still stamps "dry" in some spots. I keep adding ink and restamping to see what happens.
Overall, I am happy with my new dye ink pads but have more to learn. The dye ink looks different on the stamp, but cleans easier than pigment. On the plus side, I have colors that match my alcohol inks. Maybe on the minus side - I wonder I have the colors that will work for my projects. I really wanted a primary blue for this project - and I bought the Earth tones kit. Maybe I should have started with the Brights set.
Other Lessons Learned:
1) I can dye stamp and then over spray with Tattered Angels Glimmer mist. It didn't make the dye run (spray lightly). This is esp. good so I don't need to stamp OVER Glimmer mist - getting glitter onto my stamp pad.

2) 75 2" cards with snowflakes will use an entire bottle of Stickles. Okay it's only $2, but still the bottles seemed "endless" to me. LOL

3) An empty bottle of Stickles still looks full, it's just hard to squeeze glue out of. I thought it would look empty, but the glitter sticks to the sides. duh me!

4) Adirondack Pigment Ink pads, bought at the same time - are full of ink and ready to use. No problem there. I used Sailboat blue on the snowflakes, it looks great. Wish I had the Pastel Pigment pads, maybe next time.

5) It takes 2+ hours after re-inking to check the color. Coming soon to my Creative Memories blog (not here).

I also just posted my last fall video for this year. It is an Autumn Greetings card. It is based on the Fabulous Fall card in the Creative Memories Project Center, Thanksgiving. That card took a looong time because I just _had_ to start with Cobblestone paper and not brown. I won't do that again! lol
With the Autumn Greetings card, I learned how to do wet edge distressing. Usually I just do dry distressing. I even have several nail files and the Close to My Heart mini distressing tool. But that card talked about wet distressing. It was kinda fun. Messy also, I used an ink wash instead of just water.

This Autumn Greeting card is the reason for the "Making Fall Leaves" video. That video is available at my http://lovetocreatememories.blogspot.com/2009/11/making-fall-leaves.html.
The Autumn Greeting card is here:

Happy to be posting here at Crop with Lisa again :)

Distressed Fall Leaves

I am glad I saved my blog name a while ago so I have a place to move into.
